Mrs. Everett L. MacLeod

SANFORD - Mrs. Pauline Dudley MacLeod, RN, 64, of the Lebanon Road, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning while at work at the Henrietta D. Goodall Hospital here. She was the wife of Everett L. MacLeod.

She was born Jan. 3, 1906, at South Berwick, the daughter of Frederick A. and Cassandra Aspinwall Hobbs. She had resided here for 28 years and previously lived in Alfred.

Mrs. MacLeod was a graduate of Somerville, Mass., High School and of the Maine General Hospital School of Nursing in Portland. She had been a member of the local hospital staff for about two years, and was formerly employed as a nurse at the Sanford Mills for 10 years as a community health association nurse.

She was a past president of the Maine Industrial Nurses Association, a member of the Sanford Unitarian Church, a member of the church choir for many years, and had been a member of the former Richmond Glee Club.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Frederick R. Hobbs, Liverpool, Ohio, and William K. Hobbs, Portland; and 12 grandchildren.
