Funeral for Elizabeth B. Watson, 84, of Decatur will be Friday, October 19, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Patton officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Watson, who died Tuesday, October 16, 2012, was born November 6, 1927, in Limestone County to Harold G. and Sadie Blackwell. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and RV travel. She was a member of Happy Hearts Quilt Guild and Wooley Springs Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife and mother. Her parents preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Thomas W. Watson; and one son, Mike Watson and his wife, Susan.
Pallbearers will be John Bishop, Jeff Bishop, Mark Watson, Matt Watson, Jacob Watson and Stuart Campbell.
