Mrs. Maggie Yerbey, 96, of Florence, died Thursday, April 19, 2007, at Glenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness. She was a native of Wayne County, Tenn., and a member of Cross Point Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 21, 2007, from 10 a.m. to noon at Greenview Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at noon in Greenview Memorial Chapel, with burial in Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery. Officiating will be Frank Mills and Clifford Miles.
Mrs. Yerbey was preceded in death by her husband, Crawford Yerbey; grandson, Ricky Berry; great-granddaughter, Jessica Phillips; and son-in-law, Eugene Roberson.
She is survived by a son, Jack Yerbey; five daughters, Billie Ruth Roberson, Norma Rhodes, Mary Alice Berry, Betty Creasy and Carolyn Collier; brother, Robert Grimes; sister, Mae Arnold; 11 grandchildren, Debbie Westmoreland, Angela Reatherford, Margaret Collier, Karen Patterson, Jeannie Miller, Tina Phillips, Michael Roberson, Chris Creasy, Steve Creasy, David Collier and Jim Berry; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will include Tim Holt, David Westmoreland, Dr. Hobbs and Jerry Balentine.
