ANDERSON, LESLIE T. - age 64, of Rockford, died at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 1999 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was in the United States Marine Corps, Army National Guard, and a retired Auto Mechanic from Delmar Haynes Pontiac. Preceded in death by Luther & Ruth Anderson; sisters, Georgia Lee Anderson and Doris Sharp. Survivors include: wife, Gaynell Anderson; son and daughter-in-law, Dan & Janie Anderson of Knoxville; son, Todd Anderson of Rockford; 3 grandchildren, Dustin, Sean, and Nicholas Anderson; sisters, Phyllis Purkey and Margaret Wilson, both of Maryville, Linda Cupp, Norma Purkey, and Elizabeth Murphy, all of Florida; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2000 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Billy Moore and Rev. Gerald Jones officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2000, Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 983-1000.
