Belva J. Bladecki

Mrs. Bladecki passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at McLaren Bay Region, age 76 years. She was born April 22, 1936 in Bangor Township to the late John E. and Rhea D. (Duford) Robertson. Belva married Robert P. Bladecki in St. Hedwig Church on June 29, 1963; he survives her. She worked at Pat's Place in Bay City for over 24 years and was a member of St. Hedwig Church. Belva enjoyed bingo and often tried her luck at casinos.
Surviving besides her husband Robert is four children: Melody Lumsden, Thomas (Becky) Bladecki, Sr., Tammy (Christopher) Piesik and Matthew (April) Bladecki, seven grandchildren: Thomas (Kristen) Bladecki, Jr., Jason (Krystal) Bladecki, Kurt (Lisa) Bladecki, Shaun Bladecki, Christine Lumsden, Tiffany and Tylia Piesik, twelve great grandchildren, four sisters in-laws: Sharon Robertson, Alice (Lloyd) Mead, Pat Bladecki and Joyce (Larry) Klug. Belva was predeceased by one brother, Gordon Robertson and one brother in-law, Virgil Bladecki.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 11:00am at St. Hedwig Church. Fr. Kevin Kerbawy will celebrate Mass and private interment will take place at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ambrose Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00pm and at church on Saturday after 10:00am. A Vigil Service for Belva will be held Friday at 7:00pm, from the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Karmanos Cancer Center, 4100 John R Street, Detroit, Michigan 48201.
