Ronald Hugh Bowlin
Mt Carmel - Ronald Hugh Bowlin, 74, passed away on Monday (October 15, 2012) at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
He was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and a member of Morressette Chapel. Mr. Bowlin was employed at Carolina Trailways of Deleware, North Carolina and Mason Dixon in Kingsport. He was retired from AFG Greenland Plant. He loved the outdoors and nature, and was a proud Grandfather. Ronald Proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard Hugh and Dovie Lee Lawson Bowlin, and his nephew, Darren Bowlin.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Thelma Bowlin, son, Curtis Bowlin and his companion, Melinda Gregg, daughter, Angela "Angie" Marshall and husband, Brad, brothers; Cliff Bowlin, Curtis Ray Bowlin and his wife, Linda, sister, Faye Christian, special grandsons; Ryan Marshall, Chris Bowlin and wife, Amanda, sister and brother in law, Bennie and Jimmy Sauls, brother and sister in law, James Fred and Ruth Higgins, brother in law, Wayne Higgins, and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 5 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Johnson Funeral Home of Church Hill and anytime at the residence.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Thursday in the funeral home chapel.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday at Church Hill Memory Gardens. Everyone wishing to attend is asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:15 A.M.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
