John W. 'Bubby' Eustice Jr., 81, passed away Feb. 27, 1993 following a lengthy illness. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., March 4, 1911 and had lived in the Akron and Ellet area the past 75 years. Mr. Eustice retired in 1976 from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and Goodyear Aerospace after 42 years of combined service and was a graduate of the Goodyear Squad in 1938. He was a member of the first Ellet High School graduating class of 1930, a lifetime member of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church, a 48-year member of Joppa Lodge 666 F&AM, and played semi-professional sports in the Ohio area.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Geraldine. He was the beloved father of son and daughter-in-law, John William III and Margie Eustice of Tallmadge; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Richard Rouser of Uniontown. He is also survived by grandchildren, Sharon French, Jennifer Bauer, Susanne Rouser, Dick Rouser and Kari Eustice; great-grandson, Davey Bauer; four nieces and two nephews.
Burial at Hillside Memorial Park.
