NEW ALBANY - Larry Lynn Hulsey, 66, died Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at his home. He was born April 14, 1939, in New Albany to the late William and Laura Wood Hulsey. He was a former employee of the U.S. Soil Conservation Service. He owned and operated Hulsey's Insulation. He was a dispatcher for the New Albany Police Department and the Light, Gas and Water Department. He was a New Albany city alderman for two terms and a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and a president of the Old Blue Hunting Club.
Services were Friday, March 17, 2006, at United Funeral Service Chapel with Dr. C. Wayne Neal officiating. Burial was in Vista Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Ann Raines Hulsey of New Albany; two daughters, Lisa Ann Whitehead of Oxford and Christy Lynn Hulsey of Huntsville, Ala.; two brothers, Glen Dale Hulsey of New Albany and Wood Evans Hulsey of Olive Branch; two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Howard Hulsey and James Hulsey.
Pallbearers were Mike Randle, Buddy McGraw, Howard Roberts, Jimmy Coley, Red Nowlin, Danny Barnes, James Criddle and Bill Tucker.
