Saw fight in Battles of Fredericksburg 13 Dec 1862, siege of Suffolk Apr and May 1863, Walthal Road 07 May 1864, Swift Creek 9 & 10 May 1864, Kingsland Creek 12 & 13 May 1864, Drury's Bluff 14 & 16 May 1864, Cold Harbor 01 & 03 Jun 1864, Battery 5 Petersburgh 15 Jun 1864, Battery Harrison 29 & 30 Sep 1864.
The 13th Reg. Vols. of N.H. participated in the final movement on Richmond 03 Apr 1865 being the first column that entered Richmond and the first Reg. of the Army to bring the colors into the city.
Mustered out of service 22 Jun 1865; discharged 01 Jul 1865 at Concord.
