Charles K. Evans, 74 died Sunday, Nov. 6, 1988 in the Community Health Center of Branch County after a one-week hospital stay during a long illness.
Mr. Evans was born Oct. 31, 1914 in Pittsburg, PA., the son of Ulrich and Blanche (Eversol) Evans. He never married and spent most of his life working on road construction in the State of Illinois. he moved to Coldwater in 1952.
Among his survivors are his brother, Merrick Evans of Coldwater.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Putnam Funeral Home, Coldwater. Interment will follow in Linwood (sic) Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Ind. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
