On 6/2/1892 in Bridgton, Willis married Martha Alice (Palmer). He owned a partnership in a grain mill, ran a milk route, and he and his wife owned a greenhouse together. Their home in Bridgton overlooked Crockett Pond. Martha's flowers beds were bountiful and included a small pond with lilies.
