Mrs.Mary Amelia Sears Dies At Brownwood

Rites for Mrs.Mary Amelia Sears,84,were held Tuesday.She died here Monday at the hone of a daughter,Mrs.J.H.McCollum.
Born in Parker County, Mrs.Sears had lived in Brown County since 1884.She was married Sept.1,1887, to W.M.Sears,who died here last September.They farmed in the Jenkins Springs community before moving to Brownwood in recent years.
Survivors are two sons,W.E.Sears of Brownwood and L.S.Sears of Fort Worth ; two daughters Mrs. Silas Byrd ,Blanket, and Mrs.Ludie Jefferson ,Fort Worth; two step-daughters ,Mrs.J.H.McCollum ,Brownwood,and Mrs.Annie Wyatt , Fort Worth; a sister,Mrs.Delbert Wells,Brownwood; a brother ,John Malone ,Terrell;eighteen grandchildren ,twelve great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren .
