BYRON SEYMOUR HOFFMAN, 70, of 1159 Hamilton Blvd., died Sunday at the Washington County Hospital. He was born in Pungoteague, Va., the son of William Seymour and Gertrude Aldress Mister Hoffman.
Prior to his retirement he was a fuel oil representative. He was a member of the Alsatia Club.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Poffenberger Hoffman; daughter, Carol Ann Lowe, Hagerstown; two brothers, John G. Hoffman, Hagerstown; and H. Hyden Hoffman, Middletown; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg.
