Funeral services for Shirley J. Williams, 69, will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Gonce Funeral Service, 4001 Ritchie Highway, Brooklyn.Mrs. Williams, a resident of Brooklyn for 40 years, died of cardiac arrest July 2 at Harbor Hospital after a yearlong illness.She was born Dec. 27, 1935, in Cumberland.Mrs. Williams enjoyed camping and traveling.She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Lloyd F. Williams; and her parents, Noris and Rose McFarland.Survivors include two sons, Lloyd Williams Jr. of Old Towne and Thomas Williams of Baltimore; four daughters, Tonna McKinney of Bumpass, Va., Linda Buck of Swansboro, N.C., Barbara Edwards of Baltimore and Lesha Thornhill of Dundalk; one brother, Jimmy McFarland of Kings Mountain, N.C.; three sisters, JoAnn Costner of Kings Mountain, Dorothy Corwell of Ridgely, W.Va., and Mary Greenstreet of Pennsylvania; 23 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Interment will Cedar Hill Cemetery.
