Ruth Ann Massey Rogers Seawright, 88, of Dorchester, IL died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 10:30 AM at her residence. She was born on September 12, 1924 in St Louis, MO to Floyd Alonzo Massey and Bertha Mishiann (Cutler) Massey.
She married James "Bud" Rogers first and then her second spouse was Bobby Gene Seawright. She retired from White Rogers where she was a motor tester. Ruth was a member of Life Harvest Ministries Church of Wilsonville, IL.
She leaves behind her son and daughter-in-law: Lonnie Gene and Julie Ann (Cameron) Seawright of Dorchester, IL, son in law and wife: John (Connie ) Boone of Clarksville, TN, 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and sisters and brothers in Law: Alma Atteberry, Sarah Wilkes, Opal Wilkinson (Robert), Esther Gamblin, Renee Gamblin (Roger).
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouses, sisters: Uldine Maybell Wilkes and Linda Sue Massey, brother: Nathanial Dale Massey, and daughter: Joan Ellen (Seawright) Boone.
Visitation is on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie from 10:00 am until noon. The funeral will take place directly after the visitation at noon on Tuesday, October 16. Burial will follow at Gillespie Cemetery in Gillespie, IL. Memorials can be directed to Life Harvest Ministries.
