James Clarence Tubb

Martin - James Clarence Tubb, 79, of Route Six, the Three Point Community, died Saturday at his home.

Services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 at Murphy Funeral Home Chapel in Martin, with Rev. Tom Page and the Rev. Tom Atwood officiating. Burial was in Eastside Cemetery in Martin.

Pallbearers were Tom Gough, Guss Moore, Joe Waggener, Tom Stewart, Raymond Bell, and John Richard Bell.

Born October 7, 1904 in Humphrey's county Tennessee, he was a retired Martin Policeman and a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, James Tubb of Martin and L.T. Tubb of Houston, Yexas and Edward Tubb of Chicago, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Ada Lee Sawyers of Largo, Fla., and Mattie Susan Greer of Shelby, Ohio, along with six grandchildren, one in Tiptonville, Tennessee James E. Tubb, Jr. and the remainder in Houston Texas area.
