Mrs. Acree was an office manager and worked for Ahoskie Medical Associates for 35 years. She was involved in the Aulander Civic League and a member of Aulander Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Baker and husband, Jerry, of Kill Devil Hills; a son, Edmond Acree of Aulander; sisters, Ercel Pierce of Colerain and Becky Decoste of Greensboro; brothers, Ronald Dunning of Aulander and Richard Dunning of Idaho; and grandchildren, Brian Acree of Aulander and Carole Morton and husband, Wesley, of Greenville.
Besides her husband, Joseph Acree, Nancy was preceded in death by her brothers, William Dunning, Lawrence Dunning, James Dunning and Carl Dunning.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the Aulander Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Johnson officiating.
