Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen
Blunt, 71, who for the past 50 years
was a resident of Brainerd, will be
held Monday afteinoon at 2 o'clock
fiom the Whitney funeral chapel
with the Rev. Abrahamson officiating.
Interment will be in Evergreen
cemetery.
Friends may call at the Whitney
chapel from Sunday until time for
the funeral.

BLUNT-CEARSE.
At the residence of F.E. Warren, on Thursday evening, May 16, 1889, by W.A. Warren, justice of the peace, Mr. Charles Blunt to Miss Ella Cearse, all of Garrison Township.
Mr. Blunt is one of the early settlers of Garrison Township and has endured the hardships of bachelor life for the past eight years. The bride is a later arrival and is not much known. We wish them future prosperity. [Brainerd Dispatch (weekly), May 24, 1889, p4 - issue here]
