Edith Marie McMullen

McMullen, Edith Marie 101, Feb. 04, 1911 Oct. 04, 2012 Edith, a former teacher at Portland's Fernwood Grade School, passed away at age 101. A private service was held. Born to Eva and George W. Miller in Sprague, Wash. she had three brothers: Allan, Don and Ervin. She married Ralph E. McMullen, a Bureau of Public Roads civil engineer, who preceded her in death. They had one son, Dean E. McMullen. Edith enjoyed gardening, travel to numerous countries, membership in service and social organizations and shopping. Survivors include two daughters-in-law; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; plus one sister-in-law; nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff of West Hills Senior Facility and Providence Hospice for providing compassionate care. Interment was at Riverview Abbey Mausoleum. Suggested donations to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
