Mr. and Mrs. Bair did not go to bed until around 12 o'clock Saturday night as some of their family was home to visit them for a few hours, and when they left Mrs. Bair seemed to be as well as usual. During the morning hours between 3 and 4 o'clock, Mr. Bair awoke and she did not seem to be as usual and he went for Dr. Cronk and he found her in serious condition.
The children were all called home and from the time Mr. Bair awoke she was unconscious and died in a peaceful manner, apparently without pain. Death was due to brain trouble.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse A. Bair and the following sons and daughters:

Mrs. John Goodwin
Mrs. Harvey Wagner
Mrs. John Will

all in the vicinity of Winfield; and a number of grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday morning, October 10th at 11 o'clock at Ebenezer M E Church, Winfield, Rev. John W. Briscoe officiated, assisted by Rev. L F Murray of Westminster. Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.
The pallbearers were Andrew P. Frizzell, John W. Duvall, Wm. Conaway, Edward Conaway, Milton Houck, George W. Bowers. The funeral was largely attended by relatives and friends and beautiful flowers covered the casket.
