Hazel M. Kibler age 98 of Greenup formerly of Jasper County passed away at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Newton Rest Haven, Newton, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2012 at the Crain Funeral Home, Newton with Bro. Mike Knepper officiating. Burial will be in Brick Cemetery, rural Newton.

Hazel was born on March 13, 1914 in Jasper County, Illinois the daughter of Samuel Walter and Bertha E. (Myers) Kibler. In early years, Hazel worked in a munitions plant during the war time and later in the meat department of the Red and White Grocery. She was a member of the Central Christian Church Newton.

She is survived by brother Orville Kibler, wife Mable of Newton, sister Ruby Cisney of Hidalgo, and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, brother Delbert Kibler, and sister Cleo Babbs preceded her in death.

Memorials for Hazel may be made to the Central Christian Church.
