ALBERT E. "BID" TROUT Albert E. "Bid" Trout, 86, of North Lewisburg died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001, at Milcrest Nursing Center. He was an area farmer for more than 25 years and worked as a power shovel operator for Marion Brick Company. He never retired. He sheared sheep and his last job was as sexton of Maple Grove Cemetery in North Lewisburg. He was a caring and loving husband, father, grandfather and brother-in-law. He always helped everyone who needed help and took special pride in his work at Maple Grove for more than 17 years. He did take a little time to go fishing on occasion. He was born April 12, 1914, in Union County to the late Chalmer G. and Mabel R. Thompson Trout and was predeceased by three brothers, Clarence, Cecil and Leroy "Bud" Trout; a sister, Dorothy Epps; his stepsister, Patty; and a brother-in-law, Jim Bahan. He is survived by his wife, Peg Bahan Trout whom he married April 9, 1936; two daughters, Judy (Mike) Vallery of Woodstock and Sara (Dale) Neer of Marysville; two sons, Mike (Linda) Trout of Urbana and Jerry (Phyllis) Trout of Sugar Creek; 11 grandchildren, Michael Vallery, Suzanne (Jim) Juzwiak, Melodi (Rick) Wilkins, Mark Witten, Kyle Witten, Clayton Neer, Andrea (Chris) Millice, Tracey Trout, Shelly (Jim) Ling, Jayme (Lee) Shaw and Ann (Wes) Levings; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary (Norman) Dooley of Findlay; his stepmother, Dorotha Trout of Marysville; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Mary and Raymond Hayslip, Katie and Boyd Fout, Carolyn and Kenny Stanley, Jayne and Gene Leiter and Shelly Bahan; a half-sister, Wanda; a step-sister, Judy; a step-brother, Glenn Smith; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Freshwater-McDonald Funeral Home in North Lewisburg and burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday
