Dudley H Jacobs, 85, 1707 South Central Ave., was pronounced dead at the Paris Hospital at 1:30 a.m. today [12/17/1970] after being taken there by ambulance from his home where he had become suddenly ill.
Funeral services will be at the Blume-Stewart-Carroll Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Sat [12/19/1970]., with burial at the Edgar Cem. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 9 p.m. Fri.
Mr Jacobs was born July 19, 1885, at Mooresville, IN, the son of James and Hannah Lambert Jacobs. He was preceded in death in 1964 by his wife, Ruth.
Surviving are a son, Paul of Tuscola, 4 daus., Mrs. Joan Jumps and Mrs. Elsie Collier of Paris, Mrs. Leon Holliday of Roselle, N. J. and Mrs. Doyle Craft of Cashocton, Ok?; a brother , Gilbert of Carthage, MO; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
