Mary- Therese ( Morrissey) Albro Greer passed away peacefully on October 12, 2012, in Madison, CT. Born on September 13, 1926, in New Britain, CT, she was the daughter of the late Dr. William and Agnes (Curtin) Morrissey. She attended New Britain High School and was a 1946 graduate of Columbia School for Dental Hygienists. Mary T worked as a dental hygienist in Hartford, CT until her marriage to Eugene J. Albro, Jr. Raising her six children in New Britain and Clinton, CT kept her very busy. Upon Gene's death after a 30 year marriage, Mary T was blessed to find another loving partner, Millard Marcus (Mark) Greer to whom she was married for 18 years. They shared a wonderful life together in Madison, CT and North Palm Beach, FL with their many friends. Mary T always enjoyed getting a foursome together for a game of bridge, golf, or tennis .Mary T is survived by her six children: Eugene J Albro, III of Metairie, LA, Jane Shugg and her husband, Yank, of Newtown, CT, Barbara Albro of Madison, CT, William A Albro and wife, Mary Ellen, of Old Saybrook, CT, Marabeth Spencer of Madison, CT, and Susan Clark and husband, Alan, of Brooklyn, NY. Mary T was the loving Grandmother of Bill, Bob, and Tim Albro and Will Shugg as well as a favored aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Dr. Ann MacArthur Sherman, and her two brothers, Dr. William Morrissey and Robert Morrissey. Mary T will always be remembered for her strong devotion to family and her wonderful sense of humor. She will be greatly missed. Mary T's family suggests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the CT Humane Society or Middlesex Hospice. Friends and family may pay their respects at on Tuesday, October 16th, from 4 – 7pm at Robinson, Wright and Weymer Funeral Home 34 Main St. in Centerbrook, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Margaret Church in Madison, CT on Wednesday, October 17th at 11:00. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in Clinton will be private.
