Last rites will be held for Travis Eli, 76, Route 3, this afternoon at 1:30 pm at the Beshear Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Cross Roads Cemetery.
Eli died at 9:20 pm Monday at Caldwell County Hospital in Princeton.
He was born May 31, 1895, in Christian County son of the late John and Caroline Lantrip Eli. He was a member of the Cross Roads Christian Church and was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Bertha Eli; a daughter, Mrs. Maxine Newsom, Route 3; a son Garnett Eli, Denver, Colorado; 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Annie Alsbrook, Providence.
