DeLAY , TOM M., 82, of Alcoa, died Monday, March 24, at his home. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Alcoa where he was former superintendent of the adult department. He was a member and past master of Prudentia Lodge No. 719 Alcoa, member of the Prudence Chapter of Eastern Star, past patron and grand sentinel 1964 of the Grand Chapter of Tennessee Order of Eastern Star, member of Scottish Rites KCCH 32nd Degree, member and past president of ALCOA 25-Year Service Club and former member and past president of Alcoa Rotary Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Sammy Maude Queen DeLay ; sisters, Dorothy Balkcom, Mae Forrester and brother, Harold DeLay .

Survivors include: wife, Ella B. DeLay of Alcoa.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Holden and the Rev. Clifton Hearon officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery with masonic services conducted by Prudentia Lodge No. 719.

Friends may call at their convenience at McCammon-Ammons Funeral Home, Maryville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alcoa First Baptist Church, 819 Gilbert St., Alcoa, Tenn. 37701 or to the Shriners Crippled Children's Hospital, 3229 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45229.
