The most important fact about Dot was that she was a God fearing lady. She was the second of five siblings, and helped raise her younger sisters. You could say she was hell on wheels at times in her life. She took nothing off of anyone and gave as good as she got! Her first marriage of many years to Kenneth ended in divorce. They have a daughter that...God love her is just like them:) I remember her growing a marijuana plant to have a sample of what it looked like for the Hillsboro Police Department (her husband was the Chief at that time) and it grew in a pot with a hot pepper plant, someone stole it and she laughed so hard hoping it burned their mouth!

She had three grandsons and several great grandchildren she adored. You could hear the love in her voice when she spoke of her family.

She also did crafts and would sell them for extra money, and she taught crafts to many ladies.

Dot married Bob and they enjoyed life together for many years. As Alzheimer's attacked her Bob was her angel. He took such good care of her. They ate at the local Hardees everyday for years and enjoyed all the people, they also loved to go dancing.

One of the last times she and her sisters were together we sat and listened to them sing old songs and the laughter with love was so special. Dot loved to laugh!

My Aunt Dot was one of a kind I will always treasure her memory. I can still hear her say to me "Your just like me!"
