Dies Saturday morning
Funeral services for Mrs. Lee Mullins were held at the Bethel Union Church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by the Rev. T.J. Porter, pastor of the local Baptist Church and burial was in Bethel Union Cemetery. Mrs. Mullins died Saturday morning at 5:30 o'clock at her home off the Short Line Pike near the Washington County line, her death being due to bronchial asthma from which she had been a sufferer for many years. Ms. Mullins was Miss Grace Inman daughter of the late Jefferson and Lettie Hagan Inman and was 57 years old, having been born May 27, 1877. She was twice married. Her first husband who was Charles Lawson, succumbed thirty-one years ago. In 1917 she was married to Mr. Mullins who survives her. She is also survived by two sons, Charles J. Lawson and Eugene Lawson, born of her first marriage; two step-sons, Fielden Mullins and Robert C. Mullins all of this county; one brother Tom Inman of Danville and three half-sisters.
