Obituary
William L. Austin, of 31 Second St., Judson Community, Greenville, died Thursday at his home.
He was a son of Mamie Pitts Austin Grant and the late Jessie Austin Jr., a former employee of Woodside Mills and City of Greenville.
He is survived by one daughter, Valerie Walker, of Greenville; his mother, Mamie Pitts Austin Grant, of Greenville; his stepfather, the Rev. James Grant, of Greenville; two brothers, Billy Austin, Ronnie Austin, of Greenville; two sisters, Sylvia Moore, Deborah Austin, of Greenville; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 2 p.m. at Beasley Funeral Home Chapel, Fountain Inn, with the Rev. Johnny Luster officiating. Burial will be in New Durbin Church Cemetery, Fountain Inn. The family is at the home of Mrs. Mamie Pitts Austin Grant and the Rev. James Grant, 1109 Antioch Church Road, Greenville.
