Terry G. Caddell passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2011, in Show Low, Ariz.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 4. They will take place on his own land in Dog Patch, N.M.

Terry was born May 21, 1942, to Lester and Retha Mitchell Caddell. He was raised and educated in Carlsbad.

Terry was a journeyman electrician and was a lifelong member of the IBEW Local 611. He worked in places all around, mostly in New Mexico and Arizona.

Terry married Sonnie Barnes in 1987. They settled in Escudilla Bonita at the base of the White Mountains. There they built their home. The locals dubbed this area Dog Patch.

Terry loved hunting and fishing, anything outdoors. He was always a prankster, and the life of the party. He made great pancakes and chocolate syrup. He will be greatly missed by all.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers. He is survived by wife, Sonnie, of the home; three children: Lisa Jones of Albuquerque, Terri Lynn Caddell and Donnie Caddell of Carlsbad; sister, Dee Kirk and husband, Steve of Carlsbad; three stepchildren: Suzanne Robart, Shelly King and Louie Barnes; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
