Death Claims Mrs. Copeland
Mrs. Jennie A. Copeland, widow of Willis Copeland, died this morning at the Madison State Hospital following an illness. She was 72 years of age.
Mrs. Copeland was a life long resident of Jefferson county and a member of the Indian-Kentuck Baptist church. Her home was on Copeland Ridge in the Canaan neighborhood.
She is survived by two sons, Dale, who is county commissioner from the upper district and Howard Copeland, both of the Canaan neighborhood; also five grandchildren.
Services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock in the Gans funeral home, and burial will be in Springdale cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
