Fabiola Lucero, age 67, passed away on Thursday morning October 11, 2012. Fabiola was a long time resident of Albuquerque, she was born in Taos, NM on December 11, 1944.
Fabiola was preceded in death by her mother, Petrita Santistevan, her husband, Abelino R. Lucero Jr., son, Abelino R. Lucero III, grandson, Elias Matthew Lucero and brother, Michael Santistevan.
Fabiola is survived by her sister, Marcia Santistevan, brothers, Leo Santistevan and his wife, Lorena, Ernest Santistevan and his wife, Gloria, Don Santistevan, Gil Santistevan and his wife, Rhonda, children, Rachael Lucero-Maldonado and her husband, Chris, Armando Lucero, Matthew Lucero and his wife Phyllis, Brian Lucero, Melissa Lucero and Alberta Lucero, grandchildren, Gabriel Healy and his wife, Shanna, Phillip Lucero, Anthony Lucero, Samantha Lucero, Abelino Lucero, Lucas Lucero, Alix García, Lorenzo Maldonado, Mercedes Lucero, Isaiah Lucero, Olivia Lucero and Adrian Lucero, great-grandchildren, Faith Healy and Rylan Healy, as well as many nephews and nieces and other family and friends who loved and will miss her.
Catholic services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. A Rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. and a Mass will follow at 9:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place and burial will be held at a later date.
