She was a twin to Eula Scales.
Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday at Bright Temple Church of God in Christ. Burial will follow at Mt. Ararat Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. following a viewing at 10 a.m.
She is survived by daughters, Thelma (James) Frazier and Virginia (Leslie) Coleman; sons, Joe (Mattie) Peacock and Robert (Gloria) Peacock; sisters, Addie B. Caruthers and Anna Lee Johnson; 10 grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
