Helen J. Parks, nee Clark, age 96, passed away October 4, 2001 peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
She was formerly employed at the U.S. Navy yards during World War II and later in life at Sickles and Cherry Hill Schools in maintenance.
She is survived by her children: Charles (Judy) Parks; Alice Jean (Bill, deceased) Martin; Bonnie (Ron) Kempke; Joseph (Florence) Parks; Richard (June) Parks and Donald (Karen) Parks; 27 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by two sisters: Bernice Clark and Betty Camp.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph; six brothers and one sister.
Per Helen's wishes, cremation rites were accorded. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 am on October 12, 2001 at Elmhurst Cemetery with Rev. Jim McGuire officiating,
