CLIMAX - Mrs. Nina Burrow Cox Barker, 91, of Providence Church Road died Saturday, Oct. 12, 1996, at her residence.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14 at Red Cross Baptist Church with the Reverend Bud Rowe officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Cox Barker was a native of Randolph County and was a charter member of Red Cross Baptist Church. She survived her first husband of thirty-five years, Mr. Edward Milton Cox and her second husband of fourteen years, Mr. Luther M. Barker.

Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Darlene Cox Coltrane of Climax; stepdaughters, Mrs. Shirley Coble, Mrs. Lillian Smith and Mrs. Bobbie Boone, all of Climax; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; 13 step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-grandchild.
