MARGARET W. KRETSCH
Mrs. Arthur A. Kretsch, 68, of 1905 Park Ave., New Holstein, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holsten, and 10 a.m. at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel. The Rev. Ralph Hermson will officiate and burial will be in St. Gregory Cemetery, St. Nazianz.
Mrs. Kretsch, nee Margaret Lotten, was born Jan. 21, 1911 (sic), in the Town of Eden, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nels Lotten. She attended St. Gregory School of St. Nazianz. She was married to Arthur Kretsch Feb. 5, 1948, at St. Nazianz. The couple operated a tavern for four years. They moved to New Holstein in 1969. Mr. Kretsch preceded her in death May 24, 1978. Mrs. Kretsch was employed at Silver Moon Mink Ranch. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein, and a former member of Christian Mothers at St. Nazianz.
Survivors include a son, Orville Henschel of Glen Burnie, Md.; a daughter, Mrs. Gloria Schleh of New Holstein; a sister, Mrs. Arhtur Magdelen Buelow of Chilton; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home from 4 p.m. Friday until the time of services Saturday. A wake service will be held 8 p.m. Friday.
