Hess rites on Friday
STOCKPORT - Nellie F. Hess (sic), 88, died at 8:05 a.m. Wednesday at Parkview Care Center. She had been in failing health for several years.
Funeral services will be Friday, 2 p.m. at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield in charge of Rev. David R.. Kennedy. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
She was born August 24, 1889 in Jefferson County, the daughter of James H. and Frances Ann Cochran Allender. October 27, 1909 she was married to William R. Campbell and he passed away October 5, 1932. December 3, 1944 she was married to William B. Hess who died April 13, 1966. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Hess spent most of her life in the Fairfield community except a time when she made her home with her daughter in Stockport.
Surviving are one daughter, Mary F. Anderson of Stockport, three grandchildren, 1 great-grandchildren (sic) and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
