Mrs. Propes, 58, died in her home early Tuesday morning, April 8, following a heart attack. She was the mother of Darwin Propes, principal of the Mound City high school.
Other survivors include three sons, A. Propes, Jr., and Terry Propes of Rosendale, and Derrell Propes of Bolckow; five daughters, Mrs. Norma Wilson and Mrs. Leveta Pennington, both of Rosendale, Mrs. Earlene Dreher of New Orleans, La., Mrs. Patricia Gottsweller of Clarksdale and Mrs. Deloris Ritter of St Joseph; 28 grandchildren and one great-grandson."
