Mr. Freddie B. Addison, 68, of Blandenburg Road, Carrollton, died Wednesday, July 10, 2002 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.

Mr. Addison was born April 21, 1934 in Fulton County, son of the late Daniel Addison. He was a former resident of Moreland and a retired lumber shop foreman with Richards Lumber Company.

Mr. Addison was a U. S. Air Force veteran, serving in the 820th Installation Squadron. He received the National Defense Service Medal and after active duty was assigned to the Fourteenth Air Force Reserve Unit.

The funeral service was held July 12 at Higgins Funeral Home at Hillcrest Chapel with the Rev. Troy Blackwelder and the Rev. Corky Addison officiating. Interment followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Aline; sons, Mike Addison, Todd Trapensted, Daniel Addison; daughter, Gabriel Addison; brother, Willie Addison; sister, Inez Williams; and 14 grandchildren.
