Miss Willene Witherington, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will Witherington of Chester died in a local hospital about one-thirty this afternoon. About a week ago the child stuck a nail in her foot, and yesterday blood poisoning set in, causing her death.
Willene was ten years old. She is survived by her parents, four sisters and five brothers. She was a niece of Mr. J.H. Witherington of this city.
The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at four o'clock from Mount Carmel Church and interment will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in charge of J. Hughes Lord.
