Jack was born to Jack and Hazel Hicks on November 20th, 1945 in San Antonio. He received his undergraduate degree in business from the University of Texas at Austin and subsequently received his Masters of Divinity from Abilene Christian College. He served faithfully in God's kingdom, working for Churches in Texas, Colorado, Illinois and Oklahoma over 40+ years in ministry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Hazel Hicks, and sister, Sharon Bailey.
Jack is survived by his: wife of 45 years, Linda Tidwell Hicks; daughter, Amy, son-in-law, Ryan, and grandchildren, Nathan and Lily; son, Aaron, daughter-in-law, Shara, and granddaughters Madeleine and London; sister, Joan Klundt, and brother-in-law, Roland Klundt; and brother-in-law, Ernest Bailey.
