Funeral services for Billy Gerald Fly, 77, of Coffeeville, are at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at First Baptist Church of Coffeeville. Burial will follow in Coffeeville City Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday from noon to 2 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Fly died Oct. 7, 2012, at Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley.
He was born in Yalobusha County on Nov. 6, 1934, to the late Bilbo and Earlene Helm Fly.
Mr. Fly served in the Army National Guard during the Panama Crisis. He was a farmer and owner of Yalobusha Farm Supply in Coffeeville. He was a member of the Coffeeville Chamber of Commerce and the First Baptist Church of Coffeeville.
In addition to his parents, preceding Mr. Fly in death are two brothers, Jimmy Fly and Bob Fly.
Surviving Mr. Fly are his wife, Jean Breedlove Fly of Coffeeville; two daughters, Renee Meyer of Palm City, Fla., and Rachel Mixon of Coffeeville; two sons, Jerry Fly and Jeff Fly of Grenada; one sister, Eleanor Boyle of Coffeeville; three brothers, Harold Fly of Grenada, Lynn Allen Fly of Horn Lake and Johnny Fly of Cascilla; and seven grandchildren.
Seven Oaks Funeral Home is in charge.
