He was the widow of Betty J. (Summers) Nordyke. Survivors include his daughter, Terry J. Straub; sons, Addison H. Nordyke, Jr. and Michael H. Nordyke; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Services: 11:00 a.m. Monday, Aug. 1, 2005 at Flanner & Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Center, 10722 E. Washington St. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral center. Burial: Washington Park east Cemetery. Contributions: Humane Society of Indianapolis.
