KINGSTON - Ray Chaffin 83, died July 12, 2007 at Adena Regional Hospital. He was born September 3, 1923, in Lawrence County, Ky., the son of David and Gracie (Adams) Chaffin. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Norma Rose (Justice) Chaffin; sisters, Annie Pennington and Effie Adams; and brothers, Johnny and Eugene Chaffin.
He is survived by his daughters, Carolyn Kreisel and Lois Dunn of Kingston; sons, Roy (Karol), Tim and Ron Chaffin all of Kingston; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Arnold Chaffin of Logan, Orville and Fred Chaffin of Kingston and Bill Chaffin of Washington Court House; and sister, Bonnie Robinson of Kingston.
Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, July 16, 2007, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
