Funeral for Hugo H. Wiecks, 64, of 3121 SW Evergreen Lane, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at J. P. Finley & Son Mortuary with interment in Riverview Cemetery. Mr. Wiecks, who was a logging operator in Oregon for Many years, died at a local hospital Wednesday.

He was a former secretary of Columbia Basin Loggers and a former partner in D.Y.W. Logging Co. and the Nehalem Logging Co., Tillamook. He was a former partner in B. & W. Roofing, San Carlos, Calif., and in Bay Circle Roofing, San Francisco. He also was a partner in the former Y. W. Ranch in Waumic, in the Mt. View Estates, Bend, and in the Crooked River Ranch. He was born at Hebron, N.D.

He was a member of Lincoln Lodge Masons and Yaquina Chapter, Royal Arch Masons, Toledo, and also belonged to the Al Kader Temple, Portland; Bruce Commandery, Knights Templar, Corvallis, and the Elks Lodge, Tillamook.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. George Reinmiller, Lake Oswego; three sons, Jack Hall and Hugh Alexander both of San Jose, Calif., and Thomas Warren, U.S. Navy; two sisters, Mrs. Victor Palmrose and Mrs. Norman Wilbur, Beaverton; and seven grandchildren.
