Born in Shippensburg on Oct. 31, 1861, Mr. Bay was a son of the late John A. and Sarah A. Keefer Bay. He was unmarried.
Mr. Bay was a member of the Church of God and the I. O. O. F. He was a cabinet maker by trade.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Ralph Pague of West King st.; two nephews, Howard M. Bay and John A. Snow, both of town, and three nieces, Mrs. Maurice Tyler, Mrs. William J. Angle and Mrs. Bessie Lyons, all of town.
The Rev. H. R. Lobb of Mechanicsburg was in charge of services held Monday at 2:30 p.m. from the Van Scyoc funeral home. Burial was made in Spring Hill cemetery.
