I had always been Told that Henry was Born in Kentucky. Gabriel and His Wife Sarah Whiteside (1787-ca1816) were living In Maury County, Tennessee, in 1814. They had been Removed from the land in Alabama in 1811.
The 1850 Census of Pontotoc, Mississippi shows Henry born in Tenn.
The 1860 Census of Caldwell, Texas show Tenn. as well.
Henry Married Nancy Phillips, 18 Sep 1831. The Census in 1850 shows his Wife as Martha born about 1820. I do not Know at this time when Nancy died, and Martha became his Wife.
I know this is the right Henry Butler, for his Grand Daughter Nancy married and moved Back to Lauderdale, Alabama.
