Mary Eloise Logsdon was born to Lavina (Goforth) and Raymond Thompson, July 29, 1924 in rural Barnard, Missouri.
Eloise was a 1943 graduate of Pickering High School, Pickering, MO and Northwest Missouri State College, Maryville. She earned certification in elementary education and taught in rural schools in Nodaway County for several years.
She was united in marriage to Robert Logsdon on May 22, 1953 in Maryville. She was a homemaker and a Christian and a member of the Pickering United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and the Sunrise Jolly Mixers Club, all of Pickering, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert (Dec. 26, 2005) and two sisters Doris Griggs and Elaine Piel.
Surviving are son David (Shelley) Logsdon, Rosendale, MO; 3 daughters, Denise (Gary) Troncin and Melanna (Edward) Seipel, both of Maryville, MO and Becky (Randy) Lowrance, Branson, MO and grandchildren Joshua Lee Troncin, Charity Rebecca Troncin, Justin Anthony Seipel, Jessica Nicole Seipel, Jennifer Marie Seipel, Zachary Ryan Logsdon, and Kacey Michele Logsdon along with many nieces and nephews.
Family visitation will be from 1-2 PM, Friday, December 31, followed by Funeral Services at 2 PM at the Price Funeral Chapel, Maryville, MO. Burial will be in Nodaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Maryville.
