B. Emil Impastato, 93, formerly of Melrose Park, died Dec. 11 in Mesa, Ariz.
Mr. Impastato is survived by his wife, Louise; children, Richard (Georgia), Dorothy (Fred) Schaible and Shirley (Carl) Helm; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Sansone, Antoinette Petruzzi, Frances Gates, Josephine Prignano and Vita (Peter) Venute and brother, Michael (Catherine); and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Peter (Theresa).
Visitation was held Dec. 21 in the Ed Prignano Funeral Home, Melrose Park.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Dec. 22 in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Melrose Park.
Interment was in Elm Lawn Cemetery.
