WEAVER RESTAURANT
CLOSES LAST NIGHT
After 15 years, the restaurant of
the Hotel Weaver, at Main street near
Kennedy, last night closed its doors
following the supper hour to be dismantled.
The premises will be occupied
by the Lorenc Bakery, now at
No. 135 Main street, as soon as necessary
alterations are completed.
The passing of the Weaver restaurant,
which had become one of the
city's landmarks, is regretted by its
many patrons. Mrs. B. M. Gash and
her son, Charles O. Gash, have successfully
conducted the restaurant
since its opening and the place had
gained renown for its excellent home
cooking And good service.
